Cultural Arts Commission Accepting Grant Applications from Artists, Nonprofit Organizations

The city’s Cultural Arts Commission is accepting grant applications from Oxnard-based artists and nonprofit arts organizations through Thursday, May 3. Up to $170,000 in grant funding is available.
Please see the attached application and additional information. Completed applications must be submitted by 4 p.m., May 3, to the City Clerk’s office, 300 West Third Street.
Applicants are required to attend a mandatory meeting to receive an overview of the grants process, and can choose from one of three meeting dates listed below. Each of the meetings will be held at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center (PACC), 800 Hobson Way, Oxnard.

• Tuesday, April 24 - 5 p.m. -  PACC Lobby
  
• Thursday, April 26 - noon - PACC Lobby
  
• Saturday, April 28 - 10 a.m. - PACC, Camarillo Room
  

Submitted applications will be reviewed by a panel of distinguished arts advocates and artists. After reviewing applications, the panel will present its recommendations to the Cultural Arts Commission.
